Indie dev Gaslamp Games is putting out a new roguelike on Steam in July. Win/Mac compatible and seems reasonably priced at 5 USD. I’m not crazy about some of the character art, but having animated graphics looks to breathe a lot of life into the rogue experience. Probably only one PC sprite though :/
Definitely keeping an eye out for this one. The world needs more rougelikes with actual development budgets. Now if somebody would just remake Azure Dreams.
